Missed Dunks at Summer League is a punk band based in Memphis, TN. Formed in late 2023, the band is currently working on their first album, which will be self-produced, released, and recorded as long as Jordan (vocals, guitar) can get his shit together. The band plays rock music that values an interesting chord shape or sonic texture over a catchy riff or memorable melody, but isn’t afraid to reach for an earworm even if they might miss. Like prospective NBA players looking for a place on a team by impressing coaches during the league’s annual summer league, Missed Dunks at Summer League is always looking for a dunk amidst the chaos.
